Winter Berber Villages Trek-Amizmiz Valley

Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Amizmiz – Ait Hamd

Depart Marrakech by car to Irhragn Village to begin the trek. Trek through the pine trees past many berber villages, and across the Amzmiz river to Ait Hamd for an overnights stay. (About 5 to 6 hours' walk.)

Day 2: Ait Hamd – Tizgui – Ait Zitoun

After breakfast, we will follow the track leads to Ait Zitoun, passing by lot of terracing where local people grow wheat, and maize. Overnight stay in Ait Zitoun in morocco. (About 5 to 6 hours' walk.)

Day 3: Ait Zitoun – Tagadirt N’Ait Yassin

Changing direction, we head south east passing by a pine forest and juniper trees, with views across the Amizmiz Valley and Lake. Overnight stay in a Berber gite in Tagadirt N’Ait Yassin. (About 6 tohours' walk.)
