DAY 1 : MARRAKECH TRAVEL TO HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS - AIT BENHADDOU KASBAH - OUARZAZATE AND DADES GORGES

Marrakech Sahara Trips, organize marrakech desert trip in 4 days desert tour from marrakech to merzouga, with experienced drivers. Your departure from Marrakech is a 07:30 am. In order to reach the Dades Gorges you will cross the Atlas Mountains, from Marrakech to Ouarzazate. You will enjoy scenic road, beautiful landscapes with different colors, and Berber villages along the way. Your first stop will be ‘Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah’ classified since 1987 by UNESCO as a human international patrimony. Of all the remaining Kasbahs in Morocco, the walls and interior of this area are the most intact. Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah has been used in many films and television productions, like Gladiator, Laurence of Arabia, Kingdom of Heaven, Games of Thrones, etc.. Then you will head to Ouarzazate and you will have free time to visit the old Kasbah of Ouarzazate "Taourirt Kasbah". Then, you will hit the road towards the Roses Valley, through the Skoura palm grove to the Dades Valley. You will arrive at Dades Gorges around 5 pm where you will have dinner and spend the first night in a typical Moroccan hotel.

DAY 2 : FROM DADES TO TODRA GORGE - RISANI - DESERT

After breakfast, we will drive from Dades gorges to Erg Chebbi Sahara desert at Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way, we’ll pass through Todra Gorges, Tenhir, Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, and then we continue to a Hotel in Merzouga desert, after relaxing a few minutes you will take some of you luggage in a small bag (just the necessary for the night in desert) and leave the other luggage in the hotel, then we will ride the camels on an adventure crossing the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise. When we reach the camp we will leave the camels and we will walk to the highest sand dunes for sand boarding and to watch the sunset, we will spend the night in a camp (Berber nomad tents) with drumming music in the middle of the Sahara.

DAY 3 : DESERT- DRAA VALLEY - OUARZAZATE

Marrakech  desert trip, continues watching Merzouga desert sunrise, and then we departure towards Tazzarine, through beautiful Sahara desert and mountain landscapes. We enjoy oases, and kasbahs on the way through the Draa Valley. We pass N'koub down to the Draa river near Agdz. We enjoy passing through Berber villages built of clay. Once we reach Ouarzazate , we explore the city and we stay overnight in local riad with dinner.

DAY 4 : OUARZAZATE - ATLAS MOUNTANS - MARRAKECH

Today,we cross the Tizin-Tichka, the highest road pass in the country, which remains snow covered much of the year. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon. End of the private travel in marrakech desert trip.
