Itinerary

Day1:Marrakesh - Aguerssiwal - Matat Pass (2200 m)- Azib Tamssoult (2600 m)

Drive from Marrakesh towards the foothills of Atlas Mountains, we meet our team, cook and muleteers in the village of Aguessiwal(1500 m), where we will start the trekking in toubkal, then we climb up on a mule path to the pass of Matat(2200 m), and downhill to azzeden valley for lunch, in the afternoon, we climb through juniper forest to join Azib Tamssoult(2600 m), overnight in refuge. 05 hours walk.

Day 2: Azib Tamssoult (2600 m) - Aguezem pass (3500 m) - Toubkal refuge (3200 m)

An early wake up for breakfast, then climb gradually up and zigzaggin path to the pass of Aguelzem(3500 m), where we have dramatic views of the Atlas Villages, and the valleys, after picnic lunch we cross the ridge to the main path descending to refuge(3200 m). overnight in refuge. 08 hours walk.

Day 3: Toubkal Refuge (3200 m) - Toubkal peak (4170 m) - Toubkal Refuge - Aremd village (2000 m)

An early wake up for breakfast, we climb gradually up to the pass of Toubkal(4000 m), and from there we follow up on the ridge to the peak of Toubkal(4170 m), the highest peak in North Africa, we enjoy the spectacular view of the high Atlas Mountains and over South, we rest for a little snack on the top, after that we head down the same way to refuge for a lunch, in the afternoon we follow walking down until Aremd village. 9 hours walk.

Day 4: Aremd village - Imlil village - Marrakesh

After breakfast at 9:00 am, we walk down through walnut tree to the Imlil Village, where we meet our transport, we leave Atlas Mountains and drive back to Marrakesh, overnight in Hotel or Riad. 1h walk and 1h 30mn drive.
